Pocket Card Album - Fabulous!

I have been waiting to share this one with ya all! You know how as crafters we grow by learning from each other? I have been crafting for over 5 years now but i still feel there is so much more to learn. I truly feel that a crafters work should be judged by her potential and not by the no of years! Coming back to my post, i am always super impressed and inspired by Erum whom we also know lovingly as E.T from - http://vibgyorkrafts.blogspot.in/ .

She is one talented crafter and all her work is absolutely mesmerizing. I loved her accordion fold card which she calls Cardini and i was inspired to make this Mini Photo Wallet Album as i happen to call it for my hubby on Valentines day. I have added the pics later. Its no way close to the awesome work E.T does as mine is quite simple :) Ooooh and i got to use my ever so pretty Simple Stories Fabulous Collection paper pad finally for my cutsie hubby. Was so apt!

PS: i am not very good with photography but with my hubby's busy schedule this is the best i could manage.

Some punched flowers and epoxy stickers made using Glossy Accents

Embossed and Distressed Photo Mats

And the pretty panels using pretty pattern papers and lotsa inking!

I have got request to make this on order too so i will be back with more!

Happy Side Step Cards

Hey There

Am back with yet another post :D

I dont have the reply option on my Blog yet (it was made in 2009 ..... its pretty historic) so i may not able to say thanks to all of you who have been dropping by. If anyone can help me with that would be so nice. Its always great to be in touch! But yes i have been seeing your comments and smiling all along

Most of you know my fetish with shaped and special fold cards. I made these cute Side step cards with general sayings and they are around 5" by 4.5 approx in A6 size. Again these were made with the gorgeous pattern papers and layered accents from K&Co. I will list the supplies at the end of this post for you.

I love the butterflies and the flower layered accents by K&Co !

And the Tiny alphabets from Cosmo Cricket made this lazy bum in me to avoid stamping :P

And then i have the cordinating envies again :). For those who worry that you need stamps all the time think again. Ready to use embellishments can make great cards too ;)

Little Princess!

I love Shaped cards and i absolutely love pattern papers! And I know i can get addicted. I kept the embellishing very limited. Again i made the coordinating envelopes and i think it completes the card

This time I went ahead and made dress shaped cards. I think they are so apt for a girl or even a lady. Well any woman is a princess ;) Don't we love being treated like one.

I have the kept the insides blank for a personal message and i think these can be great as party invites too!

Gatefold Birthday Card

Hey There

Am sharing from a quick pile of work i did last week for my exhibition. Unfortunately things didnt go as well and i lost my Guinea Piggie of 3 years Bubbles over the weekend and cancelled my plans. :( It was a tragic day but at the end i was happy that he didnt have to suffer his health issues any more. Wish we had better facilities for these adorable creatures here in India. How i miss him.....

Neways... am trying to cope up so please excuse if i drift often. I tried a gate fold card as i really wanted to use this gorgeous pattern papers from Mango Frost paper pad. I have used my latest collection of spellbinder die (how lovely these are) and my favorite calla lilies. The Dimensional sticker is also from the Mango Frost Collection

I also did some background stamping to decorate the insides of the card and made a coordinating envelop too.

Pillow Boxes for Sweet Treat!

Happy Womens Days to all you lovely ladies out there

I had a fabulous time crafting and couldnt wait to share these super fun pillow boxes i made these last few days.

I think gifting is a way of expression and one can judge that from the cover of the gift! At least i do. I am a sucker for pretty wrappings and decoration and would care less about what it holds at times. That me! :)

So a quick post to share the pillow boxes i made. there are several ways to make and decorate these but i wanted them all happy and cheerful to be part of the product portfolio for my exhibition tomorrow. These would be great for gifting chocolates, small trinkets and probably many other gifts!

Good part is that these boxes lie flat and are easy to store till you wish to use them!

I think one important thing i learnt was to ensure using a good quality paper that supports their shape and no matter if you use dies or cutting machines these beauties sure test to your patience when it come to shaping and decorating them.

Lulupu Challenge#10 ~ Birthday Special Blog Hop Day 1

Hello Everyone!

Today my baby www.lulupu.com turns 1! Am super happy and oh so excited!

Yeah! I cant believe its been an year already.... it still fees like yest when i dreamt about it. It's been a totally exciting journey especially for me to watch my dream turn into reality and I couldn't have done it without each and everyone of you! Thank You!

March will be going to be fun at Lulupu - The Craft Lounge! We will have many giveaways and tonnes of fun so do ensure you follows us all around FB, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube! To kick start the celebration we have a Lulupu Design Team Blog Hop along with our monthly challenge. So if you have landed at this post its the very start for a fun filled week ahead!

So here I am sharing my project for Lulupu Challenge #10 - Let's Celebrate.

As the challenge suggests, we were to take inspiration from a fellow Design Team member and create a project that celebrates.... well... just about anything. My inspiration was Ujjwal's This Napkin Fold Card :

which totally got me cracking. It was so pretty that i wanted to try it for myself so i was inspired by the folds and here is my take on it.

Well, unlike Ujjwal i aint any good with handmade flowers so i went straight ahead for the latest Prima Marketing Zhypher collection. What my card shows is how a particular paper collection and coordinating embellishment can complete your cards/projects super quick. This one was a breeze!

Studio Calico Wood Veneers are my latest crush and i love how they complete all my projects so aptly. The chipboards are again from Zhypher Collection. Love em! It reads "Let's Celebrate".
Can you see the Pie Lane Glitter Balls?

Here is a look at the open card. I have used the Crafters Companion Cosmic Swirls  to create the effect with Distress inks

Added the K&co Layered Accents Stickers and a stamped sentiment and voila you are done.
See how easy peasy it is.

Hope you liked it and am guessing you are gonna join us in Lulupu Challenge #10 too. Thanks for passing by.

Continue the Lulupu Design Team Blog Hop with the next post on 3rd March By Ujjwal. Also here is the list to help you track the blog hop ending on 9th March.
