Heya,
So am back after a real long break after finishing with the new embossing products i got on the
Crafting queen Store recently!! I couldn't wait to try these myself! I have loved heat embossing ever since i learnt about it! Most people think embossing powders just add extra dimension to a stamped image or a sentiment or at max to make some background but embossing products go way beyond! I had once come across a tutorial which showcased how to make a whole scenery yes a whole scenery for your projects!! The card you see here has been made by just stamping with a watermark pad and then carefully adding different embossing powders in layers to get the effect right :) I have used the
Micia Stamps and the pastel embossing powder range and and few from pearl series for the shimmer effect which are also available on the store :) I think having a whole set of embossing powders is a great idea especially when they run a long way!!! You can make 100's of such small sceneries this way! If you think having a lighter and darker shades of same colour is useless -think again. :) It adds a real nice touch when you wanna give the shading in such sceneries! check my background for the water effect :)
Ok so this card is for dear Hubby. He has been feeling ignored off late, with me being busy with the craft store and the stocks and packing and orders. So i wanted to remind him that he's my best fish in the big ocean :) yep those words are in there :) I actually loved the outcome. From a plain card stock to a textured coloured aquarium filled with love.... the colours came out gorgeously though i had initial hic up using the embossing pen to colour the fishies!! I must say its a its one helluva tool!
Sorry for the bad pic :( I took it in a hurry and its not even straight (was to too excited to share). The card looks brighter in reality!!
This card also goes for:
