CraftyJC Challenge - The first in India!

Hi!

There was a time last year when i was so crazy about participating in card challenges but with less time on hand its next to impossible to meet the deadlines!

However CraftyJC Challenge is special - coz its first of a kind of the Indian Bloggers and i couldnt have missed it for anything!!!!

This was a super quick card and i kept it simple. The black card stock has been embossed by cuttlebug and some flowers. The yeloow big flower is from my candy sent by Kavi! :)

Unlike me i even added glitters to the border to make it look chunky!

Have fun!

A lil close up....

A Special Birthday Card!

Hey guys!

I had a splendid day celebrating my finance's birthday. Thanks to all for your wishes!! I just quickly wanted to share the card i had made for him. And am so happy he actually loved it. I think tis one of my favorite card so far too!

I used the pattern paper from 'My Minds eye', lotsa stamping, wet embossing and a bit of quilling too :)

Check out the Pop up inside :)

I also wanted to share another card, this was made long back using the cuttlebug embossing folder. Its for my very dear school friend Pradnya. We have been friends over a decade now! Her birthday happens to fall on the same date 7th July!. She was very excited to receive the card. I guess handmade cards would never go out of fashion.

Sorry bout the dim pictures. I took them in a hurry.

Both the cards are being entered for Caardvarks - New birthday card

Thanks for looking!

Cheers!

My SURPRISE Blog Candy!!

Heylo Ladies,

It’s my fiance’s birthday today- 7th July ! Yuhuuuuuuu!! In the last few years we couldn’t celebrate his birthday together as we were in different cities. Since this is his first bday that we are celebrating together, I am really excited and want to share some of this happiness with you too. Yes we are talking about some goodies!!

Another piece of good news is that we just adopted two little piggies 3 days ago - Gobbles and Bubbles!! And we are still celebrating their welcome into the family!

In order to make it more exciting, I am compiling a list of goodies for the Surprise candy and will reveal the final bouquet shortly!! I know you love surprises and I promise this one will be exciting!

My First blog Candy!!

Up for Grabs till 7th Aug!!

Off late I have been working on a survey to understand the craft material supply in India. It all began when I started feeling deprived of the access to quality paper craft, punches, clear stamps and other accessories. I have spent thousands and thousands to get them from US through noble souls who were willing to carry my load. Since most of us stay in various parts of India and often do not have access to the old market that provides us with the best and economical material we require, we end up spending at bigger stores or waiting for friends and relatives to return from abroad. This survey caters to all craft enthusiasts who are exercising their creative skills beyond card making and scrapbooking - including oil painting, needle craft and candle making etc!.

PS: Please note this Blog candy is only for my Indian friends for the time being and would be up till 6th August for grabs. Winner to be announced on 7th AugustJ

The rules of the Blog Candy are:

1. Be a follower if you are not already.

2. Post a comment and let me know your thoughts :)

3. Fill the survey completely with your remarks - Click here to take survey

4. Post the candy on your sidebar with a link back here. Spread the word.

If you are not a blogger, you can still win! Fill the survey and send me a mail at karunasud@gmail.com to be counted in.

Ok, more good news??

Do a separate post with a shout out about the candy and you will receive an additional entry to win the candy!!

Another Cookie???

Since I need your help to ensure maximum responses to my survey, I will let your name be counted one more time if you have shared this survey with a friend/fellow blogger (arts and crafts enthusiast only J) who has completed it and mentioned your name as “I got this survey via – Your name” in the last comment box of the survey. This wills double your chances of winning the candy.

For example: If I fill the survey once, I get counted once for the Blog Candy. If I pass it to my friend Neha and she in turn completes the survey and mentions it in the last question of the survey (under comments column “I got this survey via – Karuna Sud”), my name gets counted additionally once more! That means my name will be entered in the list of prospective winners twice – which makes my chances of winning higher.

So you can get yourself 3 entries to win this Surprise candy!

Thank you for dropping by and taking the time to fill the survey. All the best to all you lovely ladies!

Cheers!
