My Top Ten Cards of 2010

Heylo everyone!!

Remember me? :) I know i have been missing all the fun  for real long now but trust me among all the running around and chaos during the wedding i was still peaking-in in just to see what my lovely bloggers were up to and it was so refreshing!

Thank you to all of you who sent me lovely best wishes via mail to some of you who sent me special cards too!! (Will be posting them shortly :) ) I had a lovely wedding and honeymoon and will share a pic or 2 with all of you soon :)

I am not here with anything new but i found The Manic World of Mrs Weyremaster latest blog hopping which wanted us to share the top 10 cards of 2010 and i didnt wanna let go of this last opportunity to blog before the year ends!!. It was indeed difficult to hand pick a few but most that i picked were made for some very special people in my life and for some special occasions. It makes me so blessed to share a smile with them.

However, in the middle of so many things i even missed my blogs very first blogssavery in December! :( From just quilling i picked up on other card making techniques and got some very interesting craft supplies like cuttlebug, nesties, rubber n clear stamps so on so forth!! I have learnt and grown all along and there is so much more out there waiting to be tried! But i am excited to share that i have made lovely friends and met some very amazing bloggers throughout the year!! Thank you for your love, support and inspiration. So here's wishing you all a very happy 2011 and lotsa more cards and blogging!!

How to clean Clear Stamps?

Heylo!

Am not posting any new card but am looking forward for some tips on how to keep my clear stamps tidy and avoid the stickiness at the back to disappear. Some of my clear stamps which i have been using for long are now getting very dirty. since i used the locally bought stamps the Dye is so bad that it has left the stains and a weird texture to the clear stamps also these stamps do not stick back to the packaging anymore and keep slipping on the acrylic block too!

Please help!! I love my stamps and cant imagine losing any of them!!

I will really appreciate any home made tips considering we don't get stamp cleaning mists or pads here in India!

Thank you!!

Thanks!!

Dear Ladies,

Its been a long break from crafts and making anything for that matter. Work pressure at work and simultaneously home has been keeping me busy. However i have been checking all the pretty work my fellow bloggers have been upto!! I guess its motivating and inspiring to see all your lovely projects! So here is a quick Thank you to all of you to keep me going beyond my busy schedule! :)

I used some memento inks and resist technique with inkadinkado stamps. Both cards were inspired to look as a set. Not sure if tht worked out? :|

Have a great day!

Autumn challenge!

Hey dearies,

What a beautiful weather we have here in the Capital in India! Its been raining cats and dog and except the broken down roads and crazy traffic am enjoying the weather so much! So many Blogs have these autumn challenge which was inspiring enough to use some pretty autumn colours like green, orange, yellow, red and foliage and leaves :). For the first time i made a coordinated envelop for 2 cards here. I so wish there was an easier and better way to make envelops :( This took me so much time measuring n all :( My finance requested for a card to give to his big boss who is leaving the organisation for good. so i kept the card clean and simple too. I used the cuttlebug garden swirls die cut for the sentiments and loved it! Any tips on how to paste them without getting messy with glue all over? The stamping is with Inkadinkado stamps and memento inks. Yep am still on with some resist technique hang over!

So here are the Autumn challenges am participating!
